Onboard the GCP community

The following guide will help you to onboard correctly in the GCP community, giving you access to all the resources, learning paths, events the community and the Capgemini Google Cloud Alliance have to offer.

First thing to do:

         Step 1 - Request the creation of a Google Account to create your corporate Google account in the Capgemini organization

Once the request is completed, you can perform further steps:

         Step 2 - Register to Partner Advantage portal to gain access to the Capgemini x Google alliance portal

         Step 3 - Connect to Cloud Skills Boost to freely access all training resources

And when you're trained and ready to pass your certification exam:

         Step 4 - Request an exam voucher for the specific certification you prepared

         Step 5 - Kryterion account creation / update to be able to book a certification slot

Step 1 - Request the creation of a Google Account

Registering correctly to a Google Account is at the upmost importance for you to have access to all resources and platforms in a secure manner.

▶ Go to Service request: Requests for other applications and services

         Requested for: <either you or the Capgemini employee for who you want a Google account to be created>

         Service : Identity & Access Management (IAM)

         Category : Google Workspace Identity - Access request for Capgemini Google Resources

         Description:

Hi team!
I need a CORP Google account to access partner and training resources and GCP projects.

▶ Submit to finish the demand

Your demand should be processed within two working days, it usually takes less than one.

Once it is completed, you'll be able to Sign in with Google with your corporate email while accessing Google tools, such as https://drive.google.com and be redirected to Capgemini SSO (and thus PingID) to authenticate.

We encourage you to create a dedicated Chrome profile connected to your CORP account to access business Google resources in a secured context.

Step 2 - Register to Partner Advantage portal

Note: You don't need your Google capgemini.com Account to register, but you will need it to login once you are registered

▶ Go to Google Cloud Partner Advantage

1.       Go to https://www.partneradvantage.goog

2.       Click on the link Register as a new partner portal user (under the login button)

3.       Fill in the application form

a.       Use your @capgemini.com email

b.       Phone number format exemple : +33-06XXXXXXXX

4.       You will receive an email with another link that takes you to a page asking you to choose your COMPANY NAME.

5.       It is very important to choose the right Capgemini entity, following the table below ⚠ :

=> Click "Validate"

You will receive a final confirmation email confirming your registration (there is usually an admin on Capgemini side who must validate your registration before you receive this email)

Step 3 - Connect to Cloud Skills Boost

You can directly access to https://partner.cloudskillsboost.google to find whatever course, hands-on lab or learning path you need! 🤩

And when you're trained and ready to pass your certification exam...

Step 4 - Request an exam voucher

Step 5 - Kryterion account creation / update

▶ Go to Ready to pass you exam? (webassessor.com)

If you already have a Kryterion Webassessor, please make sure the 2 fields mentioned below are correctly filled in your profile.

 

If you need to create a new Kryterion Webassessor account, please:

1.       Go to https://webassessor.com/googlecloud

2.       Locate the "Don't have an account?"section and click on the link to create a new account.

3.       Fill in the form

a.       Important ! - For the field Organization (Employer or School), enter Capgemini Technology Services SAS (France)

b.       For the field Primary Relationship to Google, select Partner

c.       Important ! - For the field Organization Email, use your corporate capgemini.com (or sogeti.com) email address. (this is the same email your Google account is linked to.)You now have access to all resources you need to learn and grow your Google Cloud skills. Now if you just joined Capgemini, already have a Google Cloud certification, here is one more step for you.

Previous certifications migration

1.       Fill in this support form making sure you fill the following fields correctly:

a.       Page 1 - Your Email: your corporate capgemini.com (or sogeti.com) email address (this is the same email your Google account is linked to)

b.       Page 2 - What do you need help with? : Select "Move my or my employee•s credential / certification between organizations"

c.       Page 3 - Why do you need to transfer credentials and certifications? : Select I have moved companies

d.       Page 3 - Email address of old Account: your email at your previous employer of the email you previously used to pass certifications

e.       Page 3 - Email address of new Account: your corporate capgemini.com (or sogeti.com) email address (this is the same email your Google account is linked to)

f.        Page 3 : Certificate/credentials name: list all your Google Cloud certifications (separated by commas)

g.       Page 3 - Organization name: Capgemini Technology Services SAS (France)

h.       Page 3 - Candidate ID: if don't know it, just leave the field blank
